Osservando l' orizzonte

Combined Fore-parts of Lion/Apis Bull, This pendant shows the head of a lion on one side, and the head of a bull with a sun disk on the other side. It may have been a variation of amulets which displays two combined lions who represents the horizon. This variation adds the idea of the holy Apis bull who was particularly worshipped in the Late and Greco-Roman Periods.664-332 BC (Late Period). THE WALTERS ART MUSEUM, Baltimore
